The NCFFI NCFFI National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland report on the Leinster League match on the Grand Canal:
Brian O’Donoghue of Royal Enfield CAC took the day with his fine 23lbs 5oz net of skimmer bream from the Millenium Bridge section of the Grand Canal. In second place was Aidan Gill with 10lbs 5ozs and third Leo Aungier with 6lbs 8ozs.
The match was fished on the millennium and bumpy road sections which saw a variety of catches including Colin Oliver’s 5lb catch of small roach on the waggler. It was great to see Conor Browne back on the bank in good form!
