Michael Flanagan reports on the pike fishing in the Mullingar area…
Over the years I have met some great characters on the angling scene and John and Guy Gill from Belgium are up their with the best. The brothers were chilling out in the Mullingar Park Hotel last week and fancied a day at the pike fishing here in Westmeath. John lives in Brussels, and Guy is up in Dublin, and will be back down the N4 in the coming weeks. We had a cracking few hours trolling and the lads boated up on 5 pike well into the magical double figures.
