Jim Clohessy of Topfisher.eu. swings the attention back to Cork with a fine ling weighing 16lbs. Jim was using the Abu Rocksweeper Nano 5-25g .
He tells us “One of the best fights all year! I had a fair idea it was a ling due to the tearing and rolling. I was very cagey as I reckoned a decent ling might hammer my flouro leader (20lb). In fairness the leader and new line held up superbly. Earlier I had a ling hammer a pollack too! You can see the bite marks in the picture… I suppose it could have been the same fish”
