Ballybay Angling tell us that 12 anglers turned up to fish last Sunday knock up on Annaghierin Lake, Shercock, catches consisted mainly of roach. Results were very close and are as follows:
1st Liam O’Brien 4Lbs 9ozs
2nd Finnian Feeney 4Lbs 6ozs
3rd Neil Mazurek 4Lbs 2ozs
4th Karlo Zgmnt 3Lbs 13ozs
The Team event will be on Sunday 13th March 2016, if there is any team unavailable to fish please advise as soon as possible as there is a waiting list for this event.

Team A. Bow Donaldson, Davy Hamilton, Kevin Norcliffe, Neil Mazurek.
Team B. Michael Welsh, Karlo Zgmnt, Mariusz Kilian, Karl Woodhouse.
Team C. Artur Czarnocki, Piotr Horbinski, Graeme Gannon, Mark Davis.
TEAM EVENT INFO.
1. Irish Bait & Tackle will be on site on Sunday 13th March for all your fresh bait requirements.
2. Draw will be at 9am sharp at the Old Coach Inn Car Park, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.
3. No blood worm or joker allowed. Fishing will be a duration of 5 hours.
4. Match will be run on a points system, if teams end up with the same points it will then come down to best weights. As this is a team event, payouts will be for teams only.
5. Andy Chapman will be running an individual pools match – this is optional.
6. Prize giving will be at the Old Coach Inn, after the event, where refreshments will be served.
The Ballybay Championship Cup will be fished on the 5th June 2016. This is a club only match.

Ballybay Angling is a well established match angling club, with membership growing each year.
We either run or fish in other competitions virtually every weekend of the year, all our matches that we run
are open to all anglers. We run a successful 2 day match every year during the month of July, with entries growing in this each year. We also hold an annual match with the Fishmaniak Fishing Club, which is one of the matches we look forward to each year.
