Belturbet Angling & Conservation Club report on a good weeks festival angling in Irelands Hidden Heartlands. The competition, the second of the year held by the club saw 40 anglers including those from England and the Netherlands compete on five selected County Cavan venues of Town Lake-Killeshandra, Derreskit, Eoinish Shore – Lough Oughter, Lower Derries and Tullyguide.
Irish angling expert Enniskillen based Tony Kersley took first place with 67.690kgs.

Anglers enjoyed the good fishing and variety of venues along with the local hospitality of Belturbet and the Castle Sports Bar. The club would like to acknowledge the help of all organisers, supporters and local landowners.
