Despite the bright sunshine and low water for the second week running 224 salmon were reported caught for the week.

On the Moy Fishery some of the lucky anglers this week were Joerg Gisselman Germany 2 fish on fly – Ridge Pool, Sean Maye Sligo 11.75 lbs on fly – Ridge Pool, Ronald Hill NI. 10+ lbs on fly which he released – Ridge Pool, William Millar NI. 5.75 lbs on fly – Weir Pool, Garrett Ruigrok Dublin 3 fish on fly, all released – Cathedral beat.

Upstream John Mullarkey Kildare 10 lbs on worm – Armstrongs Fishery, George Bell Foxford 3 fish his first salmon – Foxford Salmon Anglers Rinanney waters, David Logan 9 lbs on Bubble & fly – Foxford Fishery, Peter Nixon UK. 5+7 lbs on Bubble & fly – Cloongee Fishery, Alain Debierre France 8.5 lbs on Bubble & fly – Cloongee Fishery, Bob Thomas UK. 3+10 lbs on fly and Mike Childs UK. 8+ lbs on fly, which he released – East Mayo Anglers.
