Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports:

16 July: At long last we got rain. It started on Friday evening as a light mist in the Valley continued through Saturday with heavy spells of rain on Sunday morning. The river started to rise around 12 o clock and by 6 in the evening there was plenty of water but it was very dirty.

It was perfect this morning with one man having a grisle and a seatrout on at the same time and another grisle about half an hour later.

Some good seatrout are showing and hopefully we will have more fish in the coming tide this evening.
