Bill Ryan reports on a pollacking fishing trip to the Donegal coast…
I hiked for two hours over rugged Donegal coastline near Dawros Head, Rosbeg, Co. Donegal to find a lovely mark only 30 minutes from my car!

The pollack were in a feeding frenzy throwing themselves out of the sea as they attacked my lure! One take was definitely in the air as I raised the eel out of the sea for the next cast!

Towards High Water the fishing went off. Best was middle two hours of rising tide. There was a big swell on the Northern side so I fished the safer and calmer South Western corner.
All fish caught were safely released thanks to this useful long handled landing net. #CPRsavesfish
I must try this mark for Wrasse.
