In the Cornamona area Tom Doc Sullivan http://www.tomdoc.com reports of visiting anglers from Yorkshire Tony and Elaine Stone, Elaine ( Pictured ) had three fish on dries best fish being a pound and three quarters. Staying in the Cornamona area Richard Molloy (087-2879339) of Ballard Shore Boat Hire & Self Catering reports of Meath angler Paul Geraghty landing a super Corrib trout ten pounds on Saturday last and sportingly returned it. #cprsavesfish

Larry McCarthy of Corrib View Lodge http://www.corribangling.com reports of a significant improvement in angling with clients enjoying great angling. Mayfly and sedge patterns have been best in the Inchagoill & Inishanboe areas. Martin Cottis and Ian McKenzie from the UK had twenty four trout between them for their four day stay with trout varying in size from a pound and a half up to three pounds while being guided by Larry.
In the Oughterard area Basil Shields of Ardnasillagh Lodge (091-552550) reports of great fishing predominately on wet mayfly patterns. Staying at Ardnasillagh Lodge & Angling were as follows, Colin Wright from Belfast for five days had twenty one fish with the best being 4 pounds with the majority being on dries. Pat & Jerome Mullane on Wednesday last had five fish for their day. Ronan Creamer had five fish for his visit to Corrib with the best being three and a quarter pounds. Ian, Sean & Liam Gaskill along with Ian Richie visiting from England had twenty four fish for four days with the best fish being three pounds with many of their catch in the two pound bracket. Jack Kingcade had nine fish for his visit to Corrib with the best fish being five pounds one ounce and finally Stuart Wilson had seven fish for his efforts with his best fish being four pounds.
