Templemore and District Anglers report on their Walker Cup fished on Town Lake….

19 May: Today we held our first coarse match of the year on the town park lake for the Walker Cup.
There was a great turn out of 22 anglers with some of the best fishermen in the country on show. Anglers had travelled from far and wide to participate. There were some lovely bags of fish caught even though our lake really fishes best from June onward.
