Inniscarra TDL report on the O’Callaghan’s Feeder Festival fished from 24-26 April…

Day 1

The second of our April #Feeder festivals commenced today with some great fishing, especially at the Garden Centre with the Bream obliging once again. Some great fishing once again from the Garden Centre. Local angler Pat Falvey is the winner today with 19.860kg, Paul Leese is 2nd with 18.880kg and 3rd Dave Micklewright with 15.040kg.

Final Day

A top weight of 24.680kg for Mick Barlow on the final day moved him from 12th to finish in 3rd place. Also on the Garden Centre and second today was our youngest competitor Eoin Rogers with 16.380kg which also saw him finish 5th overall in the competition. Third place today came from the Greenway with Neil Richards and 14.080kg.

But there was no catching Pete Mills after his day one catch of 35kg finishing with 50.700kg and a festival win. A back to back win following in the footsteps of Paul Leese who did the same in 2018. Consistent fishing from Cathal Hughes saw him finish as runner-up with 46,800kg and in third place Mick Barlow with 44,760kg.

Congratulations to the winners and all who took part. Thank you to our sponsors O’Callaghans Bar & Guest House and to Eileen & co. for the usual welcome hospitality and Kevin Gray for organising the matches.
