Monday 26th August to Sunday 1st September 2019.
The Drowes had fairly good water levels over the first 5 days of the week. On Monday, the gauge read 0.69m and the river fell slowly to read 0.64m by start of Friday. Heavy, persistent rain on Friday meant the river rose rapidly to read over 0.8m over all of the weekend. The fishery was fairly quiet. Marty King recorded a fresh 6lb grilse caught on prawn and it is good to see some fresh salmon still entering the fishery.
