The river was in flood for most of the last week with very little reports on the ground. Nothing spectacular was reported in for the end of season and the season has now closed for all salmon and trout fishing on the Blackwater and associated tributaries in the catchment.
Anglers are reminded to return their completed logbooks to the relevant IFI offices.
