County Clare charter skippers Luke Aston and Sean Maguire are reporting some great catches off the Clare coast and on the Shannon Estuary. Smaller shark species are turning up regularly with some good days on the tope and spurdogs enjoyed, and of course some fine bullhuss encountered too.
There’s rarely any shortage of pollack and some good ling have also taken the baits in the last week. Wrasse are never too far away but one fish that did raise an eyebrow was a rarely seen tadpole fish. Some good eating fish like cod and haddock are also coming aboard.
Go fishing…
