The fishing the last week in Courtmacsherry has been very productive with offshore and inshore fishing very well. Common skate, thornback ray, congers, ling, pollack and cod were the species most caught. The self-drives are also doing well on the bass in the Estuary.
Courtmacsherry Angling has also been selected to take part in a pilot Bluefin Tagging programme. Hopefully with it will lead to a sustainable Bluefin Angling fishery (more details later re trips etc).
