16 April: Lots of large dark olives about this morning and fish rising to them, not as much action in the afternoon when the sun came out.
Remember a permit is required to fish the Liffey in Kilcullen. Permits are available in Daybreak, Kilcullen and are selling fast.

Kilcullen Trout and Salmon Anglers Association has acquired the fishing rights on both banks of the River Liffey in Co. Kildare from Kilcullen Bridge to the upper reaches of Harristown.
2019 licences are now on sale in DayBreak, Kilcullen at a price of 20 euro for adults and 10 euro for a juvenile.
The start of the season is Friday the 1st of March and it closes again on 30th of September.
