Conor Conway from Longford sent us in this report from his visit to the shores of Lough Gowna last week:
It was midday of our second day of feeder fishing on the shores of Lough Gowna and, just like somebody hit a switch, the fish stopped biting. Using common sense I put out a roach dead bait on an alarm and within ten minutes the culprit was on show – a healthy looking 16.5lb pike feeding on our silver specimens!
