We received the following report from Cormac Walsh Bassfishingireland…
It has been a slow week for lure fishing on the south east coast of Wexford reports local bass angler Cormac Walsh. There were high hopes for the big tides over the new moon last week but the bass proved hard to come by.
However, Cormac did catch a few bass over the back end of the spring tides last week. One fish was taken on a bright orange Westin Sandy Andy fished over rough ground and another couple of fish couldn’t on resist a Lucky Craft Sammy fishing off the top.
A good night session over high tide just before the weather broke produced ten fish for Cormac. Lure of house this time was an IMA sasuke. After this bit of stormy weather coming over the next few days, it’s looking like it might start to settle towards the middle of next week with high pressure coming in.
Here’s hoping the bass will be biting too. Tight lines!
