Gerard from Borderfishing was in touch to tell us about some of the fantastic fishing he and his clients have experienced over the past week. It’s the time of year when pike are feeding up prior to spawning so there’s always a chance of a ‘fish of a lifetime’ at this time of year.
Although conditions and weather have been quite challenging Border Fishing in Co. Fermanagh shows their consistent capability to put their clients on big Irish pike.
47 pike landed last week with different clients and a number of them nicely over to 20lb Largest pike was 115cm, and we had an accidental catch of a 60cm river trout.
Tough but fantastic results for all the guys.
