Members of the Leinster Coarse Fishing Federation faced a day-long downpour as they decamped to Annaghierin Lake near Shercock in Cavan for the 3rd leg of the Leinster (open) Qualifier 23/24. The lake was in great order despite the constant rain and all anglers thoroughly enjoyed their day out on the lake. Tommy Dowd took top honours on the day with a bag of 17lb 2oz. The lads were so impressed with the lake that they plan to hold the next leg of their qualifiers there on Sun 6th August.
