Steve Schreck reports from the Moy:
The water in the Moy catchment settled to low water levels last week, with readings at Ballylahan bridge showing 0.54 on Monday and 0.36 on Sunday. Not too many anglers ventured out to tempt their luck. In total, 66 salmon have been reported caught for the week.
The Moy Fishery recorded two nice seatrout weighing around 2lbs and 3lbs caught by a local angler at the Point Beat.

Ballina Salmon Anglers reported 11 salmon caught for the week, weighing between 3lbs and 6lbs.
Mount Falcon recorded 3 fish, 2 of which were caught on the prawn and released. The best fish weighed 5lbs.
Knockmore Salmon Anglers reported 4 salmon caught on the prawn.
Attymass Angling Club recorded 2 fish for the week caught on the prawn.
Coolcronan Fishery reported 1 salmon of 5lbs caught on the prawn.
Byrne’s Fishery recorded 14 grilse for the week caught on the prawn. A good number of those salmon were reported as being fresh, silver fish.
Gannon’s Fishery reported 4 salmon. Two were caught on bubble and fly and two on the fly.
The Foxford Fishery recorded 6 fish caught on prawn. The best fish weighed 7lbs.
Foxford Salmon Anglers reported 19 salmon for the week, of which 12 were caught at Rinnaney and 7 at Baker’s.
East Mayo Anglers reported 2 salmon of 3lbs for the week, of which one was released. Both were caught on the fly.
