Next up for guided Kayak fishing was young Harry Ross, we tried to get out last Autumn but the conditions never came good so it was great to finally meet up and go afloat to fish last week. The forecast was for 2 – 3 ft swell, overcast and a light breeze, none of which really happened instead we got baked in rare Summer sunshine for the entire trip.
One other factor was the time window we had to work with which meant throwing away the tide table and just going with the timings available, so all things considered the trip went well with a purple patch of Pollock action towards the end for Harry who by which time and mastered all the finer angling skills needed for success with the Pirate Lures Wrasser & Corsair Baitfish patterns we were using on the day and also the kayaking part all of which is a lot to take in for anybody. Well done Harry!
