Eileen Carroll Murphy reports water levels are dropping on the Flesk and Laune and that for the week ended 14 April there was 1 salmon caught on worm from the Killarney Flesk. The fish was estimated to weigh 7lbs. Beat 1 of the River Laune saw 2 fish caught, weighing 7lbs and 8lbs both on worms.
Anglers on Lough Leane also reported a couple of salmon, weighing 9lbs and 11lbs, on the troll.
