The surf was already up on the open coast but I managed to find relatively sheltered water in which to fish my flies. The takes were fast and easy to miss in the dynamic conditions but eventually I connected and held on while this fish powered around in the surf oxygenated water and followed up with another before the rising tide forced me to move from my position and the fish to move on
