Evening Trout angling should be advanced by now but hatches of flies are poor due to unusually cold evenings/nights. Anglers would normally be starting angling by 8pm but are now off the river by then and are seeing very poor rises of Trout later than this.
Water levels have been slightly elevated during the week and the main channel is carrying a slight tinge of colour which is most likely a green/brown algae.

There are a number of angling clubs on the Bride centred on Tallow, Conna, Castlelyons, Glenville/Kildinan and Rathcormac. Day tickets and often membership is available in local shops, pubs and postoffices.
