Osgur Grieve reports from Loughs Conn & Cullin…
Reports from anglers are that Lough Cullin has had good hatches of duckfly but the fish “were not up on them”. Lough Conn has had some duckfly hatching with the odd olive now starting to appear as well. Peter Roche was in contact with the following report: On Monday 1st he and a friend were on Lough Conn and Peter had 2 trout while his fishing partner had 1 from the Brackwansha and Massbrook areas while pulling wets. Monday 8th Peter was out again and released 2 trout in Cloghan’s Bay, 1 to measure, using nymph and buzzer.
