Paul Dennis from the drogheda and district anglers reoports that they held an open competition on Thursday the 29th of December 2011 on a lake in Monaghan.
15 anglers caught a total of 69 pike. heaviest fish 6 lb 13 oz.

- 2nd W.Heasley 7 pike 19 lb 4 oz
- 3rd P.Dennis 7 pike 15 lb 8 oz
