Blackwater Lodge

March 10: 13.00 a fine fresh fish ~10lb. lost on spinner after 5 minutes (reel problem). A few more fresh ones seen running through just below where it was hooked 10 minutes before, & 3 fresh fish seen running another beat as well. I also heard there were good fish moving through the tide at Cappoquin as well.
March 11: A couple of fresh fish seen, but none met.

Fort William Estate Fishery

12/03 Water levels are in perfect order for the time of year. .38m on the gauge and a ideal height for spring fishing on the fishery. At this level fish should certainly start slowing down. Over the weekend a few fish were showing themselves going through the Castle beat. Forecast for the coming week is good.
