2/10/12 I start with a backdate on the 1/10/12 Mr. Rob Elson of the UK, fishing with his ghillie Mr. Bob Priestly, caught 2 sea trout on the drift, now today’s facts, all quiet on the SW front or my noble anglers failed miserably too report their catches and releases.
3/10/12 Mr. Dave Ecclestone of the UK caught a few Juniors(small sea trout) and for the rest of my noble anglers, the least said the soonest mended.
4/10/12 There were a few boats manipulating their flies, and all I can say is they failed miserably in producing my noble sea trout, but in their defence of my noble anglers it was very cold, with the odd heavy shower, wind SW fresh.
5/10/12 Lough Currane was flat calm so you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know the sea trout results, wind or no wind my Noble Anglers still failed miserably in their duties. Calm and overcast.
6/10/12 Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com reported that one of his hired out boats caught 1 sea trout, and there were reports of one angler catching a fine Sea Trout, wind NE light with bright sunshine all day.
7/10/12 In the last two days in the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. John Flaherty and his good friend, Brendan, from Ardmore Co Waterford, caught 15 sea trout ranging from Juniors up to 2 lb.
8/10/12 Enrico from Italy fishing with his ghillie Mr. Neil O‘Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught 3 Juniors, Mr. Kevin Lavery fishing with his ghillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and of tomfishing@eircom.net caught 1 Junior, heavy rain this morning with little too no wind until this evening, easterly light too calm. That is your ration for this week, from your ghillie/guide and the Waterville fishery. No spin No fly’s just facts.
