I hooked up with some great characters last week from Vancouver BC, Canada. Which I was told is about 11 hours flight. Doug Burns Hannah Beard, and Leanne Guthrie really lapped up the Mullingar atmosphere. Staying in the Austin Friars Hotel, they had a cracking time and also checked out the night life in Mullingar. We fished for a few hours on Ennell and even though it was hard going managed a nice pike. Plans are already in place for a return trip to Westmeath.
