The Rye Water Season 1st March – 30th September

Conditions on the Rye Lake are absolutely ideal at present with a high level of water clarity.  While deadbaiting is a productive method lure fishing should be equally effective over the next week with no heavy rain forecast.  Perch and Roach lures work especially well.

Last Sunday, visiting angler Garrett Walsh had 3 Pike to 8lb all caught on a rubber Roach, this despite less than ideal conditions.

Anglers are encouraged to take advantage of the last few days of half price fishing on the estate.  Rates return to normal on March 1st.  So with ideal conditions and beautiful welcome sunshine there really should be no excuses.
