Viktor Miska was out on Poulapoucha reservoir for a few hours on Tuesday. Viktor reports seeing a good hatch of may flies and some nice trout rising around bays. But the the target for Viktor and his friends was pike on the fly. They spent their time searching weed beds and shallows and Viktor only managed a small jack pike around 4lb but one of the party hooked a nice fish close to 12lb. Unfortunately after an exciting fight the fish got away under boat.
Viktor reports that the lake is in good order but commented that after the weekend there was quite a bit of litter left by other users of the lake.
