Cian Twomey of Boat Angling Ireland fame, headed out on his boat CianFisher last Wednesday off Crosshaven and reports:
Well met Pat at Crosshaven to head out for the day and decided to hit a few marks the first was very productive with fish coming over the gunnels at a good rate . With big whiting for Pats supper we headed to a different mark for Plaice. The water was very murky and visibility was very poor but the doggies were the blondest I have ever seen. With nice size dabs coming in twos and threes we quickly started to run out of frozen mac as there was no fresh macs caught throughout the day. A good day in all with myself catching the most species but after Pat and Cian bullied me all day about being the second mate I decided to get my payback and alter a photo as only the real captain can.
