The full moon and the big tides didn’t deter Peter Murphy aka Rockhunter from heading to Youghal Harbour. By the light of the moon he made his way to his favourite spot. Laiden down with crab bait he set himself up and it wasn’t long before he landed a fine 5lb bass followed quickly by a chubby 3.25lb cod. The following day being Saturday he made his way a bit further out of the harbour and some coalfish and a fighting cod was his catch. Read how Rockhunter got on the following as he describes on his blog ‘Fishing around Youghal‘
