Dublin Trout Angler’s Association’s final Open Pike Competition was held in Poulaphouca on Sunday the 10th Feb. It was a very cold and wet day and only 9 anglers took part but still managed to land 4 pike between them. The winner with a pike of 12 lbs was Declan Mc Dermot, second with 2 fish for 7lb 13oz was Paul Sheridan , and 3rd Mark Lennon 4Lb 8oz. The overall series winner with 14 points Alan Mc Evoy. Thanks to everyone who attended these competitions and a special word of thanks to Gerry Dolan who arranged them throughout the year. These competition start again in November
