Exciting fishing at Rye Lake

With autumn most certainly in the air over the last week or so attention has turned to the hugely exciting pike fishing to be had on the Rye Lake.
Fishing pressure has been very light to date and armed with a selection of flies or lures the small number of anglers who have fished this stretch of water have had superb sport – especially when conditions are in their favour.
Fishing from the margins seems to be the order of the day at present and good numbers of double figure fish are being returned to fight another day.
