The Munster Blackwater’s Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery reported on 15/06 that fish have been moving in reasonable quantities on the upstream beats with two caught and returned last week, both on spinner and in less than ideal conditions. Another weighing 7lb. was caught on a Cascade fly.

Earlier this week at Ballincurrig, Connie had an estimated 12lb. salmon which was safely returned. While at Blackstone Len landed a fine 13lb fish. Elsewhere Rhododendrons in abundance.
