The Laune Anglers and Trout Association report on how the water levels on the river are:
Water Height: As of Monday 2nd February Laune now down to 1.73 M at the Laune Bridge. The river will now be fishable on Beat 3 and down stream fisheries will come right if it continues to fall. A few fish will be running the river each day but an angler is more likely to catch a spent fish rather than a springer so handle all such fish carefully and return.
