Mackeral are so hard to catch in mid-August that I can’t believe it!

Other fishing remains slow.

I think it is entirely possible that the Mackeral have gone due to the apparent abundance of Bluefin Tuna .

The other fish like reef Pollack, Flatfish etc. – not sure yet.  Had divers out for a while and little angling done.

Blue Sharks are here in reasonable numbers – 6/7 a day not uncommon, but sizes seem small this year.
