Irish Kayak Angling…report from Lough Muckno:

We had a fantastic weekend away with the Irish Kayak Angling Club at Lough Muckno in Monaghan. A big thanks to the IKA organisers, Lakeside Angling Castleblaney as the local meet sponsors, RAILBLAZA, Daiwa UK, Cobra Electronics and of course to the Muckno Adventure Ski club who very kindly gave the use of their wonderful venue on the lake.

There was a great attendance at the meet and it was a wonderful opportunity to get to see so many different Kayak angling set ups – the pics should hopefully give you a feel for what the weekend was about.
As well as being there to soak up the fun Darrens Kayaks was also there to demonstrate our Viking Kayaks Angling hulls and Kayak motor set ups and we’ll get up a “Darrens Kayaks On Tour” album soon showing our weekend’s water trials.
