Kevin Lyons of Melview Lodge reports on some lovely pike caught by his guests:
Piet and son Lex from Holland along with friends Thomas and Nick had a great weeks Pike fishing at Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford, using jerk bait lures and soft baits mainly they caught some great Pike to 29lb.
Kevin said the lads were fishing crazy and every spare second they had they loved to fish and it paid off for them, I had the pleasure of fishing and guiding them one of the days and some great Pike were caught that day.
Their total for the week was 155, during the week they all managed double figure Pike including Nick on his first time to Ireland. Well done guys hope to see you again next year.
