19 May: Great fishing on the lake today for regular visitors father and son team Philippe and Charles Cartier from France. 16 fish in total landed with 3 fish over a meter, the biggest being 105cm. Numerous hits and follows so a very busy day indeed. Most fish take on Savagear Linetru trout and Spro 6in. BBZ. – TJ’s Angling Centre
Pierre Monjarret and his clients have also been having some great fishing in the last couple of days, including some realy awsome pike to well over 1m.

20 May: What a difference a day makes on Derg. Winds and rain made fishing difficult for Charles and dad Philip on their last day with us. We still managed to get 4 fish for a total of 20 fish over 2 days. Bon voyage guys and we look forward to seeing you again soon. – TJ’sAngling Centre

Andrew McKenzie finished a week of fishing with Cedric Charpentier of PecheIrelandePassion. He had a fantastic time with loads of fish up to and over 100cm. His best was 112cm, his first “20” – a very impressive 24lb.

23 May: Mad day today. 3d trout was killer lure. 7 fish over 90 cms +, 3 over 100cm. Even got 2 over 20 lbs …scales don’t lie!  – Peche Irlande Passion

24 May: Husband and wife team Raujet and Daniel from Marseilles in France enjoyed some good fishing with us.Their first time to this area and first time pike fishing. Both had some great fish ,the best being 101cm for Raujet and 100cm for Daniel and many between 60 and 95cm. – TJ’sAngling Centre

Fish were most active in the morning today. Our best 2 fell off right at the boat, we still got some good ones though.  Line thru trout did the business. 112cm was the biggest and we had a double hook of of 2 serious pike: 108cm and 95cm. – Peche Irlande Passion
