Dec Murphy had a lovely 25lb pike off the River Shannon near Clonmacnoise last Thursday. Dec was fishing with a friend, Steve, who also had a fine pike to about 15lb.
The pair fish for pike 4 days a week from both boat and shore. Dec reports that the day was well suited to fishing, although only 8C it was warm in the sunshine with light winds.
