Lough Derg continued to produce the goods for pike anglers last week and over the long weekend. Husband and wife team, Jean-Yves and Sophia Toutant fishing with TJs Angling Centre finished their holiday in grand style on Friday. The couple had 5 fish in all with a P.B. for Jean-Yves of 104cm and a lovely colored fish for Sophie of 95cm. Readers might remember that Sophia featured in the reports last week when she had 107cm pike.
Angling guide Paul Bourke had clients fishing with all through the long weekend and each day saw pike in and around the 100cm mark landed.
Hermann Molenar, Pierre Montjarret and the guides and Black Bay Lodge also reported some entertaining fishing over the last few days.
