The Worlds Spinning Boat Championship team of 2016 is Ukraine. Winning the 9th World Championships – Predator Boat Fishing proves them one of the most successful teams in this category of all time. Their skills were show cased on Lough Ree when it fished much harder than usual in flat calm conditions. Team Ukraine produced 45 fish for 167,284 points against 37 for second placed Belarus and 42 for Lithuania.
It was very hard luck for Team Romania stormed to the top of the rankings on day one of the World Championships here on Lough Ree. Romania scored a massive 135,815 for 35 fish but missed the podium coming in 4th after a lesser performance on day 2. In general Day was a hard day with unusual conditions for the time of year – minimal wind and bright sunshine.
In the Pairs Ukraine scored again with team members Iurii Orlow & Konstantyn Shvabi taking Gold. Silver went to Lithuanian Pair Domas Kelpsas & Gediminas Svilpa with Hungary reaching the podium for Bronze with their pairing of Peter Bosansky & Viktor Gegeny.
Team Italy took the biggest fish prize with their 102cm pike.
