John Chambers from IFPAC reports that O’ Casey’s Pike Angling Club held its penultimate heat of its 2017 league on 12 November on a lake in Co. Cavan. Again, water levels were up, but there was a reasonable amount of fish caught, although mostly small in size up to 4Ib 12oz.
Results were, as follows:
- 1st Eddie Mc Guirk 21Ib 13oz (10 fish)
- 2nd Paul Dennis 13Ib 10Oz (5 fish)
- 3rd Johnny Brady 9Ib 9oz (3 fish)
Heaviest fish (4Ib 12oz) caught by John Hoey.
Total fish: 33.
