Brian Reidy from Galway Bay SAC was in touch with a couple of recent reports on major competitions. Firstly, the final leg of the Tubertini High Quality sponsored West Coast Shore League was won by Lisdoonvarna Fanore SAC member Aidan O’Halloran on Lacken beach in Killala. Aidan also won the league title with a magnificent 4 wins out of 6, his worst result a 4th placing which he could discard.
The nearest angler to him was his fellow Lisdoonvarna Fanore SAC club mate Cian Egan with two wins. Galway Bay SAC member John Cunningham was third along with fellow club members Sean Murray in 4th and first time leaguer Robert Loftus in 5th. Brian wanted to express the gratitude of all to Sean Murray of Tubertini High Quality for sponsoring the main prize of a rod and reel worth €750.
