Piet Van Saase and friends Marnix, Stephan and Ronald were over for a Pike fishing holiday staying with Kevin and Jane at Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford. At times the weather was not the best for Pike fishing but the guys carried on regardless, they fished mainly lures both hard and soft along with a few dead bait sessions.

The guys were up against it from the start with the bright and still sunny weather. However they fished on and despite the conditions and managed to catch some nice Pike during their stay. Piet has been over here a few times now and has caught some very nice fish in the past and this time decided to invite some new friends along to try the Pike fishing in Ireland. Great week lads and thanks for the jokes and the laugh, see you again next year.

All fish returned unharmed.
