Due to sunshine and Covid-19 travel restrictions not many anglers were active on the lakes. Stephen Browne and his partner had 11 trout to the boat, 4 of them keepers in Castlehill Bay, all on wet Mayflies. Padraig Traynor’s 2 best trout weighed 2 lbs. and were caught on Dabblers in Flannery’s Bay, while Ian Wise had 4 trout averaging 1.25 lbs., all taken on the Bibio in Bog Bay.
Overall, 32 trout reported caught. Lots of smaller trout were reported showing during the week with some early Mayfly hatches reported in secluded bays.
