Rising water lowers weights for CM Lakelands match

This report from the CM Lakelands Feeder Club:

The Club held a match on Sunday on the church side of lough Garadice. The fishing was very hard, with constant rainfall raising the water levels by over 6 inches during the match.

However, there were still a few fish caught, but mostly on the smaller end of the scale, with very few decent fish coming to the net.

In 1st place was Nigel Houldsworth with an impressive 51 fish for just under 3.5kg from peg 1. 2nd was Brenton Sweeney with a weight of just under 3kg of roach from peg 4. Rimantas Kondrakas made up the main frame with 26 fish for just over 2kg on peg 14. Sorry about the quality of photos, it was pouring it down.

  • 1st Nigel Houldsworth 3.450kg
  • 2nd Brenton Sweeney 2.845kg
  • 3rd Rimantas Kondrakas 2.100kg.

  • Robertas Zilaitis 1.970kg 1 to 8
  • Rory Dunne 1.210kg 10 to 18.
